The ego seeks power, control, and to be in command at all times. The essence, however has real power for several reasons. The first reason is that it is eternal. The essence cannot die. When you are in the essence mode, you realize it is eternal. The second reason is that the essence has no negativity at all whereas the ego is confronted with negativity from outside and within.

If you are in the ego mode, certainty does not exist for any extended period. You may have the illusion of certainty while things go well; however, when your goals are not met, you may soon become disillusioned. In the essence mode, you have certainty that is both stable and permanent.

All fear is experienced while in the ego mode. Fear stems from three areas of prediction: fear of error, fear of loss, and fear of pain. Fear is addictive. This is not to say that you love fear, but beings often put themselves in the position where they experience fear. Fear does not exist in the essence mode. In your essence mode, there is only the experience of peace, the experience of joy, and the experience of love.
Ego and Essence

The goal of the ego is to be powerful and isolated. It will separate itself from its group and in the end could be in total isolation. The fuel that drives the ego into isolation is guilt. The essence's goal is to be with its group, being creative, giving out peace, love, and joy.

The ego goes as far as it can. This includes the destruction of the planet on which it depends on for its very survival. In the essence mode, an ideal scene can be visualized of life in a world, free of all egos.

It's about time. It's about evolution. The essence's time has come. What's in it for you? You can stay in the ego mode. You can see where that is going. You can choose to evolve into the essence mode. Which choice will help create a better life in the Twenty-First Century for you and the world? Which will it be, ego or essence?.
